Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our rapidly expanding team at Healveda Health. As our CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, optimizing our financial performance, and driving sustainable growth. You will collaborate closely with the founder and executive team, providing financial leadership and expertise to support our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and long-term vision.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Drive financial planning and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Establish and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial data.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to optimize financial performance and support growth initiatives.
- Lead fundraising efforts, including investor relations, financial due diligence, and capital allocation strategies.
- Provide guidance on mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives, assessing financial viability and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing strategies, product profitability, and cost management.
- Monitor key financial metrics and industry trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Foster a culture of financial discipline, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 8 years in financial leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and M&A activities is highly desirable.
- Passion for healthcare and a deep understanding of the challenges associated with autoimmune conditions is a plus.
